A float tube, also known as a belly boat or kick boat, is a small, lightweight inflatable fishing craft which anglers use to fish from. They were originally doughnut-shaped boats with an underwater seat in the "hole", but modern designs include a V-shape with pontoons on either side and the seat raised above the water allowing the legs of the angler to be the only part of his body to be submerged. Float tubes are either "U", "V"-shaped, or circular with 3 separate air chambers.The new Float Tube is made from the same heavy-duty, polyester reinforced PVC(0.9mm thickness) as quality inflatable boats and ribs, eliminating the problem of bladder failures and puncture.1000 Denier PVC construction is excellent resistance to abrasion and UV-rays. Fitted with the best quality non return valves available and finished with added reinforced rubbing strake down each side for added extra protection! The dual action foot pump supplied has a bayonet fitting for a secure fit into the valves and has a 2-way option, to inflate and deflate the tube completely.Fitted with two zipped side pockets for all your fishing tackle, plus a large bow pocket for waterproofs, lunch etc. Top quality drop stitch floor, seat and backrest, plus spreader bar and graduated line tray. Numerous D-rings and straps for attaching accessories, plus 2 adjustable shoulder carry straps and a repair kit, all of which packs down into a neat nylon carry bag and everything weighs in at just 10kg.Many float tube anglers customize their crafts with rod holders, lights, and electronic fish finders.
